FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Attendance

Conference attendance is required for all Pharmacy Managers, Store Operators and Partners. If you are not able to attend, please speak with your District Director as approval will be required and directed to a Senior Leader.

The conference is important professional development. While at the Neighbourly Pharmacy Leadership Conference all attendees must participate in every aspect of the event. This is a wonderful opportunity for social networking and connecting through the workshops and social events.

Direction from Support Centre for recording hours will be released at a later date - team members are paid while at the conference.

A registration link has been sent to all attendees, please register as soon as possible. Registration will close on Friday, January 1st, 2027. Click the register tab above to complete your registration.

Attendance at PLC is reviewed and determined each year based on the objectives, capacity, and business needs of the conference. An invitation to attend in a previous year does not guarantee attendance in future years.

PLC attendees typically include one Pharmacy Leader from each location, prioritized in the following order: Partner, Store Operator, or Pharmacy Manager. In addition, Operational Field Leadership, including Regional Vice Presidents, District Directors, Regional Operations Directors, and Pharmacy Directors, are invited to attend, along with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Support Centre Senior Directors.

Additional Store, Front Store, and Support Centre team members may be invited on an exception basis. This may include team members who are involved in conference planning, presenting content, supporting conference operations, or whose attendance is required to support specific business objectives and the overall success of the event.

This approach helps ensure the right leaders and subject matter experts are represented while maintaining an effective and productive conference experience for all attendees.

Cancelling a confirmed PLC registration should be avoided whenever possible. Once your registration is confirmed (i.e., you have received your flight itinerary), cancellations without a Senior Leadership-approved reason may result in personal repayment of any cancellation fees incurred.

The purpose of the PLC is to provide our leaders with learning, development, networking, and recognition opportunities. Investing in leadership development is crucial for our long-term success and we believe that by equipping our leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge, we are investing in the future of our Neighbourly.

We want to assure you that we are carefully balancing cost-control measures with investment in our leaders. In planning the conference, we identified that holding the PLC in the Dominican Republic was more cost-effective than hosting in Canada. We also want to emphasize that most of the conference expenses are covered by our generous sponsors, which significantly reduces the financial impact for Neighbourly.

We value your input and are open to suggestions on how we can balance cost-containment with necessary investments. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you sharing your thoughts and concerns.
